Kingston & Quinte Road Trip
The Elmvale Home Building Centre Major Atom AAA Predators took a road trip this past weekend with road games in both Kingston & Deseronto taking on the Jr. Frontenacs & Quinte Red Devils.
The weekend started off well with a road win against the Kingston Frontenacs. The Predators would take the lead late in the second period. We would go ahead 2-0 early in the third period only to have Kingston pull within a goal just over a minute later. Kingston would pull the goalie late in the period with hopes of tying the game, however we would find the empty net to take the 3-1 win.
We would enter Deseronto to face Quinte with the hopes of keeping the win streak alive. Quinte would come out strong scoring two first period goals. NCP would fight back scoring a goal in the 2nd period and again midway through the 3rd. Quinte would score the go ahead goal just over a minute later which would prove to be the game winner.
We now prepare this week to enter our second tournament of the season.
