So far this month the Predator Peewees have been on a tear, battling back in games and finding their scoring touch.  In the first 4 games in 2015 the team has scored 22 goals with 2 wins and tie and loss. First game of the New Year was against York Simcoe.  This game had the Preds down 3-0 after the first and looking a little shaky, but the team fought back with 3 of their own in the second by Collins, Dooley and Robertson to tie it up.  The third period was a draw as well with the Kylar Watson batting one out of the air for the team to take the lead but YSE got one of their own after they ...

The Bauer Challenge Cup was the last tournament of the season for the Peewee Preds. So ... after everyone filled themselves with turkey dinner and good cheer we were off to Buckingham Arena for the weekend. Game #1 was a hard fought battle with the Mississauga Senators.  It appeared we had a little Christmas hangover and couldn't find the back of the net though, losing this close battle 1-0.  (MVP for this game Ayden Dooley)

The North Central Predators Peewee team saw 5 contests in the month and came out ahead with 3 wins and 2 losses. We first headed to Clarington to face the Toros who had a slow start to their season but were coming on strong as of late.  This was a close one with goals by Mountain, Quarrington and Collins but we ended up on the losing end by a score of 4-3 Next Markham was in town where the Preds were looking for a little redemption after a disappointing loss the last time they met.  The guys ended up victors with goals by Dooley and Smith (assists Davis, Mountain, Graham and Robertson)  ...

The team was in the Shanahan Tourney on Nov 7-9th and to repeat last years performance would be a challenge. Game #1 had us facing Markham and although we had a lead into the 3rd period the team let their foot off the gas and Markham capitalized with 2 late goals to leave the game at a 3-3 tie. Game #2 was a against the very aggressive London Jr Knights and the guys just couldn't seem to get anything going.  This was ended as a 6-1 loss for the Preds.  The team was now looking to redeem themselves with a couple good games on Saturday. The Kelsey's NCP Peewee team is on a roll. A week ago the team took on the Petes and were successful in their efforts. Peterborough is an improved team this year and the team knows they cannot take anyone lightly.  The boys started the scoring with Ty going top corner with a nice pass from Ryan Smith.  2nd goal was started from the point by Ian Lemieux where Noah Mountain jumped all over the rebound to put us up 2-0.  The Petes answered back with one but Aiden Dooley got the team back up by 2 with a nice shot from the point.
